All log cabin foundation parts are impregnated with timber preservative when manufacturing. We recommend that your entire log cabin be painted and impregnated, also that it is treated with two coats of quality preservative. You can discuss this option further with a mejmber of our staff. All of the wood is dried at a heat of 10-12% humidity.
Choosing a log cabin
Each log cabin can be manufactured to the costumers requirements, Decide on:
- The log cabin size and model you require.
- The cabin wall thickness, which will depend on the function of the log cabin and its location.
- Wall thickness; - 35mm, 44mm, 60mm, 70mm, 92mm.
Windows and doors
Double-glazed windows and doors are standard on all our log cabins. Double glazing on Bay windows is optional when choosing windows and doors. All windows open from 3 different angles.
Roof cover
All our log cabins are constructed with a metal profile shinglet roof that comes in a choice of colours. You may also choose a Bitumen, (felt) roof covering also in a range of colours and profiles.
Foundation
The log cabins require a concrete foundation.
Erection
Erection of our log cabins can take from one day to three weeks depending on the size and complexity. All works regarding electricity / alarm / plumbing need to be installed before erection.
Lead-time on a log cabin is 4-6 weeks on all products required.
